Carina dominguez
Carina is currently the Pregnant and Parenting Case Manager at Safe Place for Youth, a homeless youth drop-in center. With this role, she is able to provide her knowledge as a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Doula, and Certified Family Planning Counselor in order to support families who are experiencing homelessness.
christina caballero
Christina has experience working in various facets of the health care continuum, and has collaborated on regulatory focused projects with the State of California including initiatives such as autism spectrum disorder, and the California duals demonstration. As the Administrative Program Coordinator of City of Hope’s Cancer Center Support Grant Programs, Christina works with leadership to implement programs that support educational initiatives and innovation.
donielle williams
Dr. Donielle Williams is currently completing a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA-Westwood. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana with a BS in Biology, and she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
Ergueen Herrera
Ergueen earned a BA in International Relations in Mexico and MBA from Spain. Previously worked in different health related roles; Director of the “Ventanilla de Salud” program, Manager of the Mental Health program, both from the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, Manager for the IFP & Exchange Outreach in Southern California, at Blue Shield of CA. Currently work for Cedars-Sinai Health System as Community Outreach Coordinator for the Research Center for Health Equity, in the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
HaRi Kim
HaRi Kim is a Community Research and Program Evaluation Coordinator at Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC). She is a self-proclaimed 1.75 generation Korean American immigrant, who immigrated to Los Angeles at the age of four after living next to a chicken farm in rural S. Korea. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Public Health.
Oscar Velasco
Oscar Velasco is a Project Coordinator under the Health Education and Wellness department for AltaMed Health Services Corporation. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from UCLA and is eager to enrich his knowledge of public health practices and continue advocating for community health by obtaining his Masters in Public Health. He aims to influence health care and policy through research and evidence-based methodologies.
Paola Manterola
Paola Manterola graduated with distinctions in Nutritional Science from La Frontera University, Temuco, Chile. After graduating from the University, Paola received a Post-Graduate Studies Diploma in Health Care Management and Marketing from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Chile as well as a Specialization in International Nutrition from Isalud University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Shervin Golian
Shervin Golian grew up in southern California. Following her passion of nutrition and being part of the healthcare profession, she pursued a career in the field of dietetics. She graduated from California State University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Food Science. She then went on to completed her dietetic internship through CSU Pomona at San Bernardino Community Hospital.
Stephanie Vargas
Dr. Vargas was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island, NY. During her childhood, she set her lifelong goal of becoming a dentist, volunteering and assisting in private practices since the age of 18. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA, majoring in Biological Basis of Behavior and minoring in Hispanic Studies. After a gap-year spent working for an Orthodontic practice, an Endodontic practice, and face-painting at children’s parties, Stephanie attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received her doctorate of dental surgery. She is currently completing a Pediatric Dentistry residency at UCLA.
Yelena Korotkaya
Dr. Yelena Korotkaya is an obstetrician/gynecologist who is currently pursuing a fellowship in Family Planning in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA.She graduated from Magna Cum Ladue from the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in New York City. She then went on to complete her medical degree at the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. She then completed her OB-GYN residency at the Northwell Health System at North Shore/LIJ on Long Island in NY.
